STEAM Saturday – Print Making

Before digital screens and printers, how did people make copies of their words and images? In this hands-on STEAM Saturday, kids will explore the history and process of printmaking while creating their own printed artwork.

Inspired by our Communications exhibit, participants will discover how printing helped people share information, ideas, and stories with larger audiences.

Kids will: Explore how printing has changed the way people communicate
Learn about simple printmaking techniques
Create and experiment with their own designs
Make printed artwork to take home
Roll up your sleeves, make your mark, and discover the art of communication!
