Summer Camp at the Museum Week 3 (Jul 13-17) - Backyard Biodiversity Age 5-8
Step outside and discover the incredible ecosystems hiding right in our own backyards! This week, campers will become young naturalists as they explore local plants, insects, and animals, learning how they all work together to support a healthy environment. Through outdoor exploration, hands-on activities, and creative projects, campers will investigate habitats, learn about pollinators, and discover how they can help protect biodiversity in their own communities.
From building bug habitats to studying the science of ecosystems, this week is all about connecting with nature.
Every Thursday afternoon will include a MadScience Show packed with hands-on experiments and demonstrations, all tied to the week’s theme!
At STEAM Powered Camp, kids get creative and get their hands dirty with science and art!
