Walking Together: Steps Toward Reconciliation

Join us as we honour the children who never returned home and the survivors of residential schools.  Wear orange to show your support.

Event Schedule
 4:30 p.m. – Land Acknowledgment, Every Child Matters flag raising, drumming & reflections, followed by a 1.3 km community walk.
 5:30 p.m. – Educational activities at the Fleming Centre, including Indigenous teachings, cultural displays, and learning opportunities with the Niagara Regional Native Centre & Lincoln Pelham Public Library.

 Free event. Please consider bringing a non-perishable food or monetary donation for the Niagara Regional Native Centre. (Most-needed items: pasta sauce, soup, crackers, condiments, canned fruit & vegetables, juice boxes & school snacks, instant oatmeal, pancake mix, syrup.)

 Rain or shine — activities move indoors if needed. Don’t forget a reusable water bottle!
