Make Your Own Hand-Brooms! In this class you will learn how to craft your two simple hand-broom and Turkey Wing whisks while learning some of the history behind the designs, and the uses of these versatile tools.

Museums are for everyone! Babies, toddlers, and caregivers are invited for tours and pre-school friendly art play with crafts, songs, and stories!

The Story of Here: Treaties Around Us

Indigenous educator, Darin Wybenga, shares the story of the lands around us and the treaties that govern their use. 

At the end of the 17th century, Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation Ancestors arrived at the western end of Lake Ontario. They occupied, controlled, and stewarded over 4,000,000 acres of land, including the lands occupied by the present day City of Burlington. Learn about the history of this land, and how we can uphold treaties to ensure it is respected and protected for years to come.

Discover the magic of the holiday season in Jordan Village. Lit entirely by holiday lights, the Starlight Market has all your favourite local artisans, food, children's craft activities, and the polar express train!

Shop the market and enjoy local beverages and craft activities at the museum, then watch the lighting of the Jordan Village tree at 6 p.m. on Main Street.

An evening of food, wine, and culture. The museum will be hosting its second annual fundraising dinner at Inn on the Twenty, Jordan.Tickets are $150 each (a partial charitable tax receipt will be issued in accordance with CRA)
